March Beauty Haul

Happy Saturday Everybody!

I wanted to make a post today but wasn't too sure on what. Recently I've done a bit of shopping with some birthday money that i kindly got gifted so, I thought i would do a haul on some of the beauty bits that i picked up.

 Shades: (L-R) 010 Light Porcelain, 010 Light Porcelain, 110 Ivory, 110 Ivory
Four new foundations? why? I first bought the Rimmel Match perfection from superdrug as it was only £5 on offer and i needed a new foundation which was pale. A few days later i went into boots and saw they had 3 for 2. The perfect excuse to try Revlon colorstay i thought. As its quite expensive and i thought it would be wise to get it in the 3 for 2. Looking back, i don't understand my logic. oh well haha. I then saw Rimmel Wake Me Up and as it's been sunny recently i wanted a good foundation for sunny weather and last year i really enjoyed using that during summer so i thought i should pick it up again. Then i realised i had £8.99 to spend to get my money worth. I thought it would be best to find another foundation as i would truly be getting my moneys worth. I found the Revlon Nearly Naked and thought that it could be a good sheer foundation for good skin & sunny days. I hate spending money on foundation so i was quite proud of myself for actually buying 3 full priced foundations in one day. (even though the Revlon one worked out being free.) Am i still crazy for buying 4 foundations within a space of 1 week? I won't have to buy foundation for a longggg time now! Which makes me happy. :)
My skin has been crazy. I've stated that before and its still acting unusual. I have dry patched but i get very oily skin throughout the day (which is very weird for me!) I've now learnt to deal with the fact that my skin is no long just dry. It's now oily to combination. So, i thought i should invest in a new moisturiser to help my skin. I picked up the Nivea Pure & Natural Oily to Combination Moisturiser as it was on offer and i do love nivea. I can't remember the price but it was less than £4. I thought that was a bargain! Next i picked up the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I've heard much about this cleanser and i've wanted to try it ever since it was lunched. It was on offer from £4.99 to £3ish. Perfect opportunity to buy i thought. I really like it so far. :)
Last thing, A deodorant. Very boring but completely 100% essential. Nivea is my favourite brand of deodorant and i love this scent. It was on offer for £1.10, what a strange price aha.

Hope you enjoyed reading this mini beauty haul

Easter Lush Haul

Hello all,
Before i begin i'd just like to apologise that this is the second Lush haul in a row! I got a bunch of lush goodies for my birthday and i then was lucky enough to receive more from my dad as an early Easter present! I'm not complaining as i absolutely adore lush. So, i thought, why not do another post?

5 of the products are from the Easter range. 3 of them i believe is new to the permanent range and 2 of the products have been apart of the permanent range for a long time.
♥LEFT-RIGHT:

Bubble Gum Lip Scrub

"A gentle exfoliator to prime and refine your lips and leave them tasting divine.
Let your lips do the talking with a fresh start: the sugar crystals and moisturising jojoba oil in Bubblegum are a sweet treat for the lips." -£5.50
This lip scrub i've literally wanted for the longest time. When i opened this i was so very excited and happy! I tried it straight away and its exactly what i thought. -amazing.
Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb

"The perfect antidote to overindulgence at Easter. This is Lush's answer to a chocolate Easter egg; a pretty pink, sugary sweet, candy-scented bath bomb. Drop this sweet little egg into warm water for fizzing pink, candy scented fun." -£2.95

I tried this tonight and i'm in love with the scent. It made my bath bright pink! What could be better?

Golden Egg Bath Bomb

"A glistening golden bath melt AND bath bomb rolled into one, that smells like Honey I Washed the Kids! Need we say more?Because of its luxurious bath melt outer layer, when you first drop this into the bath it will sink down, then bob back to the top as its bath bomb centre begins to fizz away, filling your bath water with its sumptuous honey-toffee fragrance. Its glitzy exterior is created with environmentally friendly (plastic free) lustre, and will create a gorgeous, shimmering golden pool."-£3.50

When i unwrapped this to have a look and a sniff, the glitter got EVERYWHERE. I love glitter so i didn't see that as a bad thing. Glitter makes everything more fun, right? I'm very excited to try this out.. but not so much cleaning the bath after!

Inhale Exhale Bath Bomb

"This is a bath bomb of two halves: created with the two halves of our Breath of God fragrance, Inhale and Exhale. Each half will fizz at different speeds. The Inhale half fizzes quickly, allowing you to breathe in the neroli and rose oils, breathe in and relax. You can then lie back and enjoy the grounding effect of Exhale, which fizzes more slowly to allow the opportunity for a long-lasting, indulgent bath."-£3.25

I believe this bath bomb is part of the new collection for the permanent range. I don't particularly like the blue side.. it kinda smells of burnt grass.. Not really an appealing scent. But i am still excited to try this out as both sides smell completely different so my guess is that when mixed together they'll smell divine. I could be wrong but i'll soon see!

Wonder WooHoo Bubble Bar

"Inspired by Wonder Woman, and created for wonder women everywhere! Mums can channel their inner superheroine when using this bubble bar, which is covered in gold lustre (to replicate Wonder Woman's golden tiara) and packed with none other than our euphoric Gorilla perfume, The Sun." £3.95

This is also new to the permanent range, i was thrilled to see this one as once again, it's very glittery! I'm very excited to try this out, i have yet to try a bubble bar! will this be my first?
Bunch Of Carrots Reusable Bubble Bar

"A Bunch of Carrots for fruity, uplifting bubbles and plenty of baths!
Swish a carrot around your bath to enjoy soft clouds of bubbles and tropically scented water. Although these reusable bubble bars may do a convincing carrot impression, their fragrance definitely gives them away: buchu, lemon and grapefruit oils create a tropical, blackcurranty and refreshing bath." £5.95

I really liked the look of these. How awesome is that? haha. It comes with 3 separate carrots and each one you can use up to 3 times! I think you would really get your money worth. :)

The Immaculate Eggception - Yellow & Pink

"This giant Easter egg is the perfect addition to anyone’s Easter basket. Give it a little shake and wonder what’s inside…when you crack it open you’ll discover another bath bomb hidden within – either a miniature bunny or a chick." £6.95 each

I was very lucky to get the yellow and the pink one of these bombs! Both of these bombs you can use three times. I'm excited to see what surprise is in each one :)

Secret Garden Bath Bomb

"Bathe in an oasis of floral fragrance... Once placed in the bath, you'll be treated to a beautiful bouquet, with rose petals, marigold, blue mallow flowers and yellow rose buds." £2.95

Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb

"A gentle lavender bath bomb to relax children before bedtime.
This is a bath bomb designed to look after young children’s delicate skin, and is so gentle it’s suitable for babies over six months. Its aromatherapy oils also work to soothe irritable cherubs before bedtime." £1.95

This bath bomb is literally the cutest one ever. Even though it's aimed towards children, i'm still really excited to try it out.

And there you have it! My Easter Lush haul. I hope you enjoyed.

Lush Birthday Haul

Hello everyone,
A few days ago was my birthday and i thought i would do a post on all the lush goodies that i received, as i did get a lot!
I personally love lush and enjoy reading/watching lush hauls so i thought this would be pretty fun to do!
Out of everything, I've only tried two! that's space girl and dragons egg! So receiving all of these was very exciting.

9 bath bombs & 4 bubble bars.

Space Girl:

"A space-dust filled bath bomb with a sweet and fruity fragrance. If you feel as though your head is in the clouds or you’re feeling sluggish, Space Girl gets you centred again with its blend of fruity essential oils."
Personally, this is my favourite scent. That's why my dad got me two!

Butterball:
"This moisturising bath bomb with cocoa butter and a light vanilla and musk fragrance will replenish thirsty skin."

This one does look quite boring but i promise you, it smells AMAZING!

Sex Bomb:
"When you’ve got that feeling tired, stressed out and anxious you need some sensual healing. The fragrant blend of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage will soon have you relaxed and feeling in the mood..."
I'm not 100% keen on this smell but its still likeable!

Amandopondo:
"A simple rose and lemon fragranced bubble bar for extra-bubbly baths. When you need life to bring you flowers, this heady rose scent combined with stimulating lemon is the perfect thing to pick you up. This is a romantic, relaxing bath to take you away from it all. Relaxing, heady rose is combined with uplifting lemon. It goes really well with Turkish Delight shower smoothie, which has a similar fragrance."
Big Blue:
"This calming bath bomb evokes a summer’s day at the seaside: perfect for drifting off.Your cares are soaked away with this bath bomb filled with relaxing and nutritious ingredients that bring to mind the Mediterranean: citrus groves, lavender, and a hint of seaweed."
I tried this bath bomb on my birthday night and i've never felt so relaxed. It smells incredible and the bath water was an amazing bright blue, what could be better? I will hopefully repurchase this next when i get the chance. :)
Avobath:

"A bright green citrus bath bomb to cheer the spirits and feed thirsty skin.Avobath in the morning to help you face the day: its lemongrass and bergamot oils will pick you up while also tackling dryness with avocado and olive oil. It contains lustre, which gives a shimmering green effect to the water, but will leave your skin feeling dazzling without the dazzle."

This bomb i could literally smell all day. It smells really citrusy and delicious! It smells like the Soap & glory sugar crush!

Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds:

"A double-sized bubble bar scented with exotic oils for ambient, relaxing bathtimes.
When you need to get away from it all, this bubble bar will help you float off. Patchouli and frankincense give it an exotic, hypnotic fragrance that helps you relax."

Rose Jam:
"A hugely popular indulgent bubble bar with a fruity rose scent to lift your spirits and feed your skin.Pep your spirits with a bath filled with Rose Jam: lemon, rose and geranium oil will help perk you up, while coconut oil and shea butter leave you stepping out of the bath feeling gorgeous. You’ll end up feeling as cheered as if you'd been given a bunch of flowers."

A French Kiss:
"An extra-bubbly bar with the heady and skin-drenching qualities of lavender.Escape to the lavender fields of Southern France and nourish dehydrated skin. Lavender is the key ingredient, so perfect for an evening bath to help you have a good night’s sleep."

Twilight:

"A colour-changing layered bath bomb with a soporific lavender and malt fragrance.
If sleep is evading you, or your mind needs some help shutting off, the sleep-inducing combination of essential oils will help get you ready for a good night’s sleep."
Dragons Egg:

"A spectacular bath bomb that’s a treat for all the senses as it fizzes and dissolves in the water.
The ultimate lift: Dragon’s Egg makes bathtime exciting again as it fizzes and crackles and changes the colour of your water to a gorgeous citrusy gold. Its scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbet, with a hint of jasmine, leaving you feeling great and ready for a good day."
Rose Queen:
"A playful rose-scented bath bomb filled with pretty flowers that cheers the soul.Whenever you need a little lift, indulge in a Rose Queen bath. Its light, floral fragrance and effect on your bathwater will help you escape to the country, while rose absolute quenches thirsty skin."

So there's all my bath bombs/bars that i got for my 17th birthday! i was ever so grateful and happy. I wasn't at all expecting these through the post so that completely made my day! :)
Every single one smells lovely and i'm so excited to try them all out!

Have you tried any of these? which ones are your favourite?

Lipsticks.

Hi all!

Today i am back with another post. This is my 5th post this month, crazy right! Anyway, i thought i would do a post on all my lipsticks. I had an idea recently that i would start doing posts on parts of my makeup collection. i.e this month i would do a post on my lipsticks then next month my blushers and etc.
I'm not a huge lipstick wearer but i do love lipsticks. Does that even make sense? haha. Basically, i do absolutely love lipstick but i don't see the need in wearing it to college and the days i'm not at college i forget to wear it. I want to start wearing lipstick regular again as summer 2013 i used to always wear it but since it's become very cold i stopped. The day that i finish education and have a full time job then, i might start actually wearing lipsticks on a daily basis. Or maybe i'll start remembering and wear it when i don't have college...

High Street/Drugstore Makeup Wishlist.

Hello!

Today's post i thought i'd do my drugstore makeup wishlist. Back in August i done my High end makeup wish list and i only thought it would be right if i done the drugstore version.
So, lets get to it..
Can i just say first, all of these products i want to try because they're highly raved about in the beauty blogging and YouTube world. I thought i'd say that now so i won't bore you by repeating myself in every comment! haha.. :)

1. The first on my list is the Sleek Eyebrow kit. I'm a huge lover of eyebrow kits, I've tried the MUA one and the elf one and love both. I much prefer kits to eyebrow pencils so i know i wouldn't be disappointed with this. I first heard from this from Sammi on YouTube and her eyebrows literally looked perfect after using this. One day i will eventually buy it but probably not just yet. The only thing is that the eyebrow kits that I've already tried are cheap. This product is more pricey compared to the ones that i already own, so is there any point in buying something more expensive that basically does the same thing?
Sleek Eyebrow kit- Superdrug-£8.49

2. Next on my list is the L'Oreal Paris true match foundation. I mainly want to try this out because of the colour range. I'm very pale and it's so very difficult to find a foundation that can match my skin tone in the drugstore, and i don't particularly want to spend a lot of money on a high end foundation. So, when i first heard of this amazing colour range i was automatically intrigued. The reason i haven't bought this foundation yet is because of the price. It's quite expensive considering it's only drugstore. Also, i only really purchase foundations where they're on offer and i haven't seen this on offer yet. Also, there's SO many rumours that this brand tests on animals. I don't want to buy a brand that tests on animals, so i will have to wait until i 100% know if Lo'real Paris tests on animals. If you defiantly do know, please let me know!
L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation- Boots- £9.99

3. Next on this wishlist is the Revlon colorburst lip butters. Not just a specific shade but any shade. I really want to try these but the only thing putting me off is the price. (As you probably would of guessed, i'm a huge cheapskate. haha.) I'm not a huge lipstick/gloss/tint wearer but i really do want to try these as they do look amazing and i do want to get back into wearing lip colours. There's not much else to say apart from that i will eventually treat myself to one.
 Revlon lip butters- superdrug/boots- £7.99

4. Next on this wonderful wishful list is a Soap & glory makeup item. It's the eyeshadow quad in the shade 'what's nude' It just looks like the perfect little neutral palette for on the go. I only ever wear neutral shades for my eyes and this seems perfect on what i would wear. I also was intrigued by this product as it's quite small so that means it's handy to travel with. When i'm travelling down to my family i don't like to take big palettes or makeup items for obvious reasons so this palette would be perfect for that. I first was intrigued by this item from Brogan from Youtube and ever since she bought it i wanted it. Also recently my friend Sophie bought this and she raves about it so i guess i need to buy it now? I'm not too sure why i haven't treated myself to it but i will have to pop into boots soon and get it.
Soap & glory eyeshadow quad 'what's nude'- boots- £10

5. The next item is a mascara. As I've previously mentioned in a post, i don't like spending money on mascaras as 8/10 i'm disappointed. I've wanted to try this mascara out for the longest time and hopefully i'll soon treat myself to it but not just yet. It's quite expensive really considering it's drugstore. Again, it's by L'Oreal so i'm not too sure to buy because the brand may test on animals.
L'Oreal Volume million lashes mascara- superdrug/boots- £10.99

6.Number six is the MUA Undress me too eyeshadow palette. The only reason i haven't bought this yet is because every single time i go into Superdrug it's sold out or used or they don't stock it. Which is highly frustrating because i really want it. It's a dupe of the 2nd naked palette but a fraction of the price. I really want the 2nd Naked palette but i'd rather purchase this MUA palette as it's only £4. Which is INCREDIBLE valuable considering you get 12 colours which are all pigmented.
MUA Undress me too palette- Superdrug-£4

7. Next is another MUA product. This is the highlighter that they do. It seems so pretty and would be gorgeous for the summery season. I'm not too sure why i haven't bought this yet. Next time i'm in Superdrug i'll defiantly pick it up. I'm not a huge highlighter wearer in Winter but, in summer i am. I can see myself wearing this a lot in summer. Basically, i need this in my life and it shall be soooon.
MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder- Superdrug- £3

8. Ok, this product i really want to try but i'm kinda scared to use it.. It would be a dupe to the Chanel bronze universel which intrigued me as i've always wanted to give that a whirl. This product seems quite scary as i've never used a cream bronzer before. I won't know if i like cream bronzers unless i give it a go, right? I haven't been craving this for that long but i thought i'd still mention it as maybe Summer time i'll eventually try it out. Maybe.
Bourjois Bronzer Range Primer Bronzer- Superdrug/boots- £9.99

9. Number 9 is a powder. This powder i was intrigued by because it's a finely milled powder which means it wouldn't stick to dry patches and wouldn't look too heavy. I first heard about this when Rosanna talked about it in one of her videos. As i have very dry skin i don't like using too much powder as i don't like it when it sticks to my dry patches, not a good look is it? I normally go for the Rimmel powder which is cheap and cheerful at only £3.99 so if i did eventually get the Revlon powder it would be a dramatic difference when paying as, it's much more expensive. It should be worth the extra few pounds but i'll soon see.
Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed powder-Boots- £7.99

10. Lastly number 10. The last product on my Drugstore wishlist is a concealer by Soap and glory. This is a three piece concealer set that comes with; an undereye brightening concealer, an 'on the spot' concealer and a transparent setting powder. The whole idea of having three products in one interests me. It's sort of like the Bobbi brown concealer kit, which also interests me but obviously this Soap & glory one is a lot cheaper.  I don't use pan concealers so i really want to see what the hype is about. I only ever use the Collection Lasting perfection concealer so i'm eager to try something different. I've also heard that this concealer kit doesn't last very long which is a down side. Let's see if i'll soon have this in my collection.
Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer, Three piece camouflage Kit- Boots- £10

And that's it! Obviously there's so much makeup in the world that i'm craving to try but these are my top 10 (not in order). So here's my High street/ Drugstore makeup wishlist! Let me know if you've tried any of these products and your opinions as i'm very interested to know!

Thankyou for reading.
Love,
Sally
